Terms of use
Version: 18 October 2026.
These terms apply to your GoDinner account and shared-meal activities. GoDinner is a project by Giovanni Buonaiuto.
Your account
GoDinner is for adults aged 18 and over. Provide accurate account details, keep your password private, and do not impersonate other people. Your date of birth stays private; your age may be shown to relevant meal hosts and guests.
Respect around the table
Treat others respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, fraudulent invitations and misuse of other people’s personal information are not permitted. You can block or report a person from a meal page. Reports do not provide an emergency response.
Shared meals and invitations
Hosts arrange meals and decide who joins. A request is not a confirmed seat until the host approves it; a direct invitation must be accepted. Private meals are visible only to the host, invitees and eligible participants. Hosts can cancel upcoming dinners or remove confirmed guests; cancelled dinners cannot be joined. If your plans change, leave the meal so others can plan.
Budgets and payment
Displayed budgets are approximate per person, not a fixed price or a payment to GoDinner. Everyone pays for their own food and drinks at the meal. Agree on any special arrangements directly with your host or the restaurant.
Meeting safely
GoDinner helps people make plans; it does not verify participants or guarantee the quality or safety of a meal. Meet in public places and discuss dietary needs and allergies before meeting. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Privacy and account requests
Our privacy notice explains how account data, meals, circles and messages are handled. To request account deletion or ask about these terms, contact info@godinner.app. Account creation records the date and version of your privacy acknowledgement and terms acceptance; it does not subscribe you to marketing.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and data-protection rights.
